Overview

This 3 Day safari will take you to Uganda’s largest parks situated in Northwestern Uganda. It is classified with Savannah grasslands, and the Victoria Nile that flows through separating it into two (the northern and southern bank). Murchison Falls is home to over 451 bird species, 76 mammal species, big number of Nile crocodiles and above all the magnificent and thunderous Murchison Falls squeezing their way through a gorge that is 8 meters wide. This Safari includes a boat cruise on river Nile.

Day 1 Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and Rhino tracking

You will be picked from Entebbe International Airport, our guide will brief you about your 3 Days safari to Murchison falls and you will start your 6 hours journey to Murchison Falls National park. You will go through Luwero, and later have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking; here you will find both black and white rhinos. After tracking have another stop in Masindi where you will have lunch, after lunch proceed to the park, after making payments for park entry drive towards the top of the falls, here along the way you will see various animals such as warthogs, baboons among others. Day 2 Morning game drive and afternoon Boat Cruise along the Nile

Day 2 Morning game drive and afternoon Boat Cruise along the Nile Up at 6.00am, you will head out for a game drive for a chance to view the glorious day-break from across the open savannah, birds and dotted woodland as well as reverine vegetation along the Nile. You will also be able to see game ranging from lions, buffalo, elephant, giraffes, antelope and a lot more. At between 10-11am, you will return to the lodge for breakffast, relaxation and lunch. After 2:00pm, you will head out for the boat cruise to the bottom of the powerful Murchison Falls. This 3-hour boat cruise climaxes at the edge of the rift valley escarpment at which point you will get off the boat and trek to the top of the falls (wear sports shoes while on the boat for ease of trekking to the top). Having worked up a sweat, once at the top, get bathed in the misty spray that the Nile creates as it forces itself into the 7-metre cleft to create the famous Murchison Falls. Your guide will transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Main Destination: Murchison Falls National Park

Day 3 Departure to Kampala/Entebbe International Airport

Enjoy your breakfast; thereafter proceed for another Game drive in the morning on your way back to Kampala. as you look out for various animal species in the grasslands. Exit the park and have lunch on the way for drop off at Entebbe International Airport. Main Destination: Entebbe International Airport (Airport/Airstrip)
