Overview

For all you nature lovers out there, why not spend a day wandering around Singapore’s breathtaking National Orchid Garden? This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to a spectacular array of over 60,000 orchids. Situated in the ‘Central Core’ of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the Orchid Garden is where you’ll discover beautifully curated species of orchid, providing a tranquil stroll beside some of the world’s most beautiful blooms; perfect for when you want to step out of Singapore’s lively street scene and reconnect with the stillness of nature.

Flower Power

Once inside this magical garden, you’ll discover the VIP Orchid Garden, brimming with a prized collection of orchids named after and presented to VIPs such as Barack Obama, Ban Ki-Moon, Princess Diana, and Prince William and Kate who visited the National Orchid Garden in 2012.

The Cool House simulates a tropical highland forest, where trees and rocks are covered with spectacular orchids and other curious plants. The simulation of cold air, floating mist and rushing wind gives an incredibly vivid portrayal of high altitude conditions in the tropics and will make for an impressive experience.

You’ll be captivated by the Heritage Orchid Garden, bursting with award winning orchids that form an important part of Singapore’s floral heritage and are considered some of the most beautiful flowers in the world.

After your visit is over, don’t forget to take a peek in the Gardens Shop located at the exit, where you can buy an orchid-inspired souvenir of your visit.
